What I have written while in an attempt to understand why evil exists and why bad things happen to good people, and so to help "justify the ways of God" to humans, is only speculation. If such speculation is a sin, then mea culpa.
Although I have dared to speculate, I declare that I have full faith and trust that a good God is in full control, in ways we can not comprehend, and that love conquers all and will always win in the end. I am assured of this by observing the boundless and holy love between human begins in trying circumstances.
