Ronald Dean Stephens was born on October 19, 1952 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He received BA degrees in Physics and Mathematics from DePauw University and an MBA from the University of Cincinnati. He has worked for 44 years in the electronics industry, including as president of three different companies designing and manufacturing precision crystal oscillators that are essential to our commercial and military space programs, including the GPS system. He is currently president of Q-Tech Corp in California. Ron and his wife Kathleen have four beautiful children, Meghan, Rebecca, Jennifer and Michael, and two grandchildren. Ron has written poetry continuously for over 50 years.

With a life long interest in philosophy, religion, history and culture, he has especially explored the varieties of religious belief and practice. At the age of 12 he was born again and became a member of a Baptist church in Ohio. In his forties, he became a member of the Baha’i Faith, and in 2018 became a member of the Catholic Church. His book “Love Songs of the Zombie” was shaped by his spiritual seeking and expresses his current thoughts and beliefs.
