The Wedding

The wedding was a big success
The bride she was alluring
The priest stood tall and talked to all
The groom he was a-glowing.

The church was packed with folks who knew
The future was unknowing
The pictures filled time's static space
The karma was a-flowing.

The friends they came from far and wide
They dropped their daily devotions
To fill a space, a time and place
With unreal, surreal emotions.

Oh! when I look back
In future's past
I'll never know the meaning
We floated in a gleaming fog
Of ever present seeming.
